It means invincible or undefeated, and she thought that’s exactly how we should see ourselves! Baye moved to the UK in 2015 to train at the European School of Osteopathy (Kent). After 4 years of full-time study with some of the most influential osteopaths in the field, and 1200+ clinical hours treating a wide range of patients from adults to babies, she qualified with a Masters of Osteopathy (M.Ost) in 2019 and with the Award for Clinical Excellence. As an avid amateur athlete, Baye is passionate about enabling people to live wonderfully active lifestyles, whatever that may look like for each individual. She is keen to work with any patient motivated to get back to better health and better movement, regardless of age and activity background. She has vast experience working with patients from the elderly to the very young (even newborns), weekend warriors, amateur and Olympic athletes, and everyone in between. She enjoys treating all areas of the body, but has a particular interest in lower limb issues, including foot, ankle, and gait (walking) issues. It’s not always about pain! Baye treats a lot of acute injuries and the pains that seem to come out of the blue, but she also works with patients to optimize physical performance and minimize risk of injuries. Baye has extensive experience with post-op care including joint replacements (knee, hip, shoulder, ankle); ankle ligament, achilles, and ACL reconstructions; spinal decompressions; rotator cuff repairs and more! She aims to empower patients during their recovery process by teaching them about their bodies, pain science, and why we are doing what we are doing. Because the body and mind must both be addressed, helping patients understand their bodies and what is happening has proved to help them recover better. Baye was a competitive rower in the UK, and was a competitive alpine ski racer in a previous life.
